About Beth
I am currently studying for a PhD in Creative Writing funded by Midlands4Cities, researching the (mis)representation of disability in contemporary fairy tale retellings. I am represented by the wonderful Becky Bagnell at the Lindsay Literary Agency, and my debut novel, Wolf Siren, is forthcoming with HarperCollins Children’s Books in Spring 2025.
I have written four books of adult poetry and one chapbook of creative non-fiction, and I also founded Disabled Tales, a website dedicated to discussing disability in fairy tales and folklore.
When not reading, writing, or listening to an audiobook at double speed, I can most likely be found with my dog Neville, snacking, drinking tea, and/or planning a trip to somewhere or other.
