I am an English Literature graduate from the University of Birmingham and am currently doing an MA in Creative Writing. I am the Editor of Mad Hatter Reviews, a site that reviews books, e-books, theatre, music, and even the odd podcast. Having been born visually impaired, I grew up on audiobooks and audio-described theatre, and these loves are still going strong.
My debut poetry pamphlet, Light Perception, was published by Wild Pressed Books in November 2019. My first poetry collection, I Left the Room Burning, was published in February 2021. My poetry pamphlet, The Earth is a Bookcase, was is due for publication on June 13th 2021.
I write graded readers for children learning English as a foreign language for Westchester Publishing Services.
In the last few years, I have had several content writing jobs. Firstly, as a member of the University of Birmingham's student content team. I have also written website content for two businesses, and has developed writing and visual content for the Lapworth Museum of Geology's souvenir guidebook.
When not reading, writing, or listening to an audiobook at double speed, I can most likely be found with her dog (Neville, pictured above), snacking, drinking tea, and/or planning a trip to somewhere or other.
